1. What is the mission of your committee in your own words?

The Tech Coalition seeks to build a community where Loudoun’s tech-enabled businesses can interact to learn from one another, share ideas and support the growth of our tech businesses

2. What is your favorite part of being a part of your committee? 

The personalities in the room–our group takes their work seriously, but not themselves. We laugh a lot!

3. What is your favorite event that your committee hosts and why?

Both! We only host 2 events per year so are very deliberate about ensuring that the topic and quality are relevant to the technology industry.

4. What types of individuals would excel in this committee?

A professional who wants to deepen their understanding of how technology is impacting how we do business. It also helps to come in with a sense of humor–again, we take our mission seriously, but not ourselves.

5. What are some of the committee’s 2019 goals?

This year we are striving to add more information sharing on emerging technologies in a new monthly agenda item. We are seeking SME that would like to share about their industry, a tech tool or topic that is future-thinking.
