Tell us the story of your business and how it’s evolved.
iQuasar was founded over two decades ago in Northern Virginia with a bold mission: to enable excellence through innovative solutions.
We began as a small team with big dreams, and today, we support businesses, government agencies, and the communities where we live, work, and are from. We’ve grown, adapted, and expanded our services to include recruitment, staffing, proposal development, software development, and helping businesses navigate the complex maze of fast-evolving technologies, including artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, etc.—reflecting our evolution and adaptability. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our A+ customer satisfaction rating and an industry-leading NPS of 95%. We’re not just focused on business success but on giving back to our amazing community.
What are you most proud of when it comes to your team?
Our team’s heart. They are all about finding solutions, working hard, and supporting one another. We take immense pride in our globally diverse and talented team, who bring innovation and integrity to every project. Our team is empowered to contribute ideas, driving breakthrough solutions that exceed client expectations. We’ve cultivated a culture where collaboration, innovation, and grassroots problem-solving are core to everything we do. Our people are true learners and help us support our vision of innovation, growth, and continuous learning.
In what ways do you give back to the Loudoun community?
We’ve always believed in investing in the future. Our commitment to the Loudoun community is deep-rooted, focusing on education, scholarships, mentorship, and workforce development. We have partnered with the Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF) and Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) to provide internships in science and technology, ensuring the youth are prepared for future jobs. iQuasar sponsors scholarships to Loudoun’s disadvantaged students studying at (Northern Virginia Community College) NOVA’s Loudoun Campus.
Additionally, our collaboration with the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) offers students and graduates real-world experience through tailored internships, bridging the gap between academics and professional work while developing the skilled workforce that our businesses need in Loudoun County and across the Commonwealth. iQuasar’s leadership, particularly through the active community involvement of our founder, Amin Bhat, further reinforces our dedication to creating opportunities and supporting local educational initiatives.
For over 20 years, we’ve been dedicated to supporting other small and mid-size businesses in the region by providing tailored solutions that help them scale, operate more efficiently, and navigate complex challenges. We take pride in being a key player in their journey and contributing to the overall economic development of our region.
What would it mean to you and your team to win a Small Business Award?
It would be a huge honor. Winning would validate all the hard work we’ve put in over the years. It would affirm the value of our mission to enable excellence and our commitment to making a positive impact on our clients, our community, and the industry. This recognition would also energize our team, validating their efforts and inspiring us to continue to deepen our community engagement and help drive even greater positive change in the Loudoun area. This recognition will inspire other Loudoun businesses to follow in the footsteps of iQuasar and help them see the value in engaging and supporting our Loudoun community.
Who is the one person that has influenced you the most in your career?
My Dad has had the most profound impact on my life. Despite facing countless personal hardships, including financial and social struggles, he remained a steadfast pillar for his community. His unwavering resilience and dedication to serving others have shaped me in ways I can’t even fully comprehend at times.
What did you want to be when you grew up as a child?
Growing up in a resource-scarce community in Kashmir, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by students from disadvantaged backgrounds. My middle and high school years were marked by a deep concern for the educational disparities that limited our opportunities. The government-run school system failed to meet the educational and other needs of children and youth, leaving them at their own mercy and unprepared to become engaged and meaningful global citizens resulting in high school dropout rates. I wanted to ask questions, challenge the system, and explore innovative ways that could empower them and create a more equitable future.
If you’re not in the office, where can we find you/what is another passion you have?
My focus is on driving impact for our company (iQuasar) and those in our communities. When I’m not directly contributing to iQuasar’s goals, I’m either empowering young people or serving our local and global communities. When I’m not immersed in these efforts, you’ll find me running—my personal and essential outlet that keeps me grounded and energized for the challenges ahead.
How do you see your business evolving in the next 5 years?
In the next five years, iQuasar aims to continue expanding its impact across key sectors, particularly in cybersecurity, AI integration, and government contracting. We are committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements, driving innovation in our services, and empowering our clients to succeed. Additionally, we envision growing our community involvement further, particularly through education and workforce development initiatives, cementing our role as a trusted partner and innovator in the Loudoun area and beyond.
