Tell us the story of your business/non-profit and how it’s evolved.

Local SEO was started solely to help local businesses in their marketing efforts. Chris, the founder of Local SEO, worked for a company and did its marketing. He loved his job but thought, why market only one company? He decided to branch out on his own, and that’s when he started Local SEO.

Being part of a business growth journey drives us and brings us great joy. The internet is evolving daily, and we want to stay in touch with the latest techniques and practices. We decided to branch out to only three services: SEO, Google Ads, and Website design. We did that with the sole purpose of mastering these services. Through our expertise and continuous education, we are ecstatic to help businesses grow.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your team?

Their determination. When assigned to a client, they are not just a client but more of a partner. They genuinely care about the business and how their business is doing. Seeing them learn independently and bring fresh ideas makes us incredibly proud of our team.

In what ways do you give back to the Loudoun community?

We love Loudoun and love being involved in the community. Most of the team are Loudoun Natives, except Chris, the founder, who is from Long Island, New York.

One important thing is for us to help as many non-profits in the Loudoun Community as possible, whether by donating our services to improve their online visibility at no cost or helping with their websites. That is one of the many things we do.

What would it mean to you and your business to win a Small Business Award?

Winning the Small Business Award would be a significant accomplishment for us. It would be a testament to our hard work and determination in our business.

Who is the one person that has influenced you the most in your career?

Both of us are very into motivational conferences and books.

There are so many figures that we look up to for multiple reasons. We both come from immigrant parents who always taught us that the sky is the limit. If we had to choose one person, it would be each other. We constantly remind each other to keep going; we have goals to reach!

What did you want to be when you grew up as a child?

Leslie wanted to be an architect, but Chris always had the entrepreneurial spirit in him. From a young age, he said he would one day own a business, and here we are today!

If you’re not in the office, where can we find you/what is another passion you have?

With our kids! We love going out and trying different restaurants in the community. We are grateful that our kids are foodies and like to try other things.

How do you see your business evolving in the next five years?

As an SEO company, we’d love to see our growth in several exciting directions over the next five years. We want a big team that works with businesses across the United States and possibly internationally!

Our goal is to purchase commercial real estate space where we can grow and become a well-known Marketing agency across the state and even the country. There are endless opportunities when you work for them!
