Your paws help us save more of their paws! Please join us at the Washington & Old Dominion Regional Park – STERLING/PACIFIC BOULEVARD ENTRANCE – on Saturday, November 2 for the Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue second annual 5k. Walk or run to help us save the lives of more dogs in need of rescue. Can’t join us in person? That’s okay! Sign up for our virtual race which is October 26 – November 2.
Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue (SSR) is a 501c3, all-volunteer rescue focused primarily on the rescue of German Shepherd Dogs, but we rescue other breeds as well. We are based out of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, but expand our reach and work to save German Shepherd Dogs in heavily populated areas throughout the country. Our hope is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home as many dogs in need as we can. We are also very passionate about trying to help rescue dogs on the west coast and southern states, where there are more dogs dying in shelters than there are rescues to keep up with them.
NOTE – LOCATION PLEASE READ: The entrance to the location is STERLING/PACIFIC BOULEVARD.
