The Most Powerful Form of Fundraising

Contributions from individuals continues to be one of the most significant sources of income for nonprofits. Yet for many nonprofit staff and volunteers, asking for an individual gift can be intimidating without the right tools. In this workshop, participants will lear the six elements of a cultivation plan: who makes the ask, what is a case statement, building your list, how much to ask for, making The Ask, and following up.

Amy Owen, and her husband, Don, live near Unison, Virginia, Loudoun County. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Alabama and received her Master’s Degree in Interpersonal Communications from West Virginia University.
