Buy-Sell Agreements: What Business Owners Need to Know by Robert A. Feisee
This presentation is designed to teach business owners and/or advisors how to perform an initial review of a client/business owner’s buy-sell agreement. Attorney Bobby Feisee will teach business owners and advisors how to perform a “buy- sell” audit with an easy to use checklist. The audit is designed to identify and motivate suitable candidates to review their current business planning structure, which includes proper funding of the buy-sell.
ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Bonnie Ashby
Bonnie has been working as a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®, for families since 1992. Before that, she owned a tax practice and worked for other firms as a tax preparer. She also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF®, designation, Certified Exit Planning Advisor, CEPA® and Certified Divorce
Financial Analyst designation, CDFATM. She served on the following boards: National Board for the Financial Planning Association (FPA), South Region Board for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and Foundation for Financial Planning board.
She is past President on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Loudoun Therapeutic Riding (http://www.ltrf.org/), and formerly on the board of Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP). Currently on the board for the non-profit Oatlands, Historic House & Gardens (A National Trust Historic Site).
Robert A. Feisee
Mr. Feisee is an estate and business planning attorney practicing and is licensed in VA, MD, DC, WV, CA. He is a graduate of George Mason University Law School (1996) and Syracuse University undergraduate (1993). As a result of his father’s 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s, Mr. Feisee has made it his mission to educate the public on the real legal and financial issues most people need to face in their estate planning. Mr. Feisee strives to keep a balanced perspective in his business and personal life.
