Allstate – After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University, Mike started his professional career by serving our country in the UNITED STATES COAST GUARD. He spent most of his four years as an electrician’s mate on two national security cutters. The first was the Steadfast (210 ft.) based in Astoria Oregon along with the Seneca (270 ft.) based in Boston, Massachusetts. After being honorably discharged in 2011, he joined his father Scott Bresnahan (Brez-nuh-han) and the Bresnahan & Associates team. 10 years later Mike decided to purchase the business from his father. Since taking over Bresnahan and Associates, Mike has hired four additional staff and increased the size of the book by 20%. They’re also ranked in the top 5% in the country for customer service. Their focus is home, auto, and life insurance. We work with several real estate, mortgage, and property management professionals across the DMV area to make sure your property and casualty insurance is in “good hands”. In the Summer of 2025, the Annual Chamber Classic will be held at The Club at Creighton Farms. This event has been Loudoun County’s premier business golf tournament for over four decades. For 30 years, the Loudoun Small Business Awards have been the most prestigious honors celebrating our Loudoun community’s best small businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations.
Guests joined us on November 8th to congratulate finalists and winners in 10 categories, including the top prize, the 2024 Loudoun Small Business of the Year. Winners were announced in front of a live audience of Loudoun’s top business and community leaders.
