Tell us the story of your nonprofit and how it’s evolved.
The Loudoun First Responders Foundation (LFRF) was established in 2007 with a clear and compassionate vision: to lead with a singular and unwavering mission: to provide immediate financial assistance to active Loudoun First Responders in their time of need. Over the years, our all-volunteer board, fueled by private and corporate funding, has distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to support those who protect and serve our community.
What are you most proud of when it comes to your team?
Our 100% volunteer board is passion-driven by donating their time and financial resources to move our mission forward.
In what ways do you give back to the Loudoun community?
Loudoun First Responders Foundation is the only official Loudoun non-profit that provides immediate financial support to ALL first responders — uniform and civilians.
What would it mean to you and your business to win a Small Business Award?
Winning a Small Business Award would be a tremendous honor for our non-profit. It would validate the hard work and dedication of our volunteer board, amplify our mission, and open doors to new opportunities and partnerships, enabling us to make an even greater impact in our community.
How do you see your organization evolving in the next 5 years?
In five years, we envision our non-profit significantly expanding its reach and impact. We aim to have established new partnerships, increase our volunteer base, and develop innovative opportunities to better serve our community. Our goal is to be a leading voice for supporting all Loudoun first responders, advocating for change, and providing essential services to those in need. With continued support, we hope to create lasting, positive change and inspire others to support our important mission.
