Press Release: Loudoun Chamber Foundation awards a record $80,000 to support the work of 20 Loudoun Nonprofits

Loudoun Chamber’s charitable arm grants the most number and largest total amount to local nonprofits, with assistance from a Microsoft grant

Loudoun Chamber Foundation Grant Recipients

Lansdowne, VA—The Loudoun Chamber today announced that the Loudoun Chamber Foundation had granted its highest level of support ever to local nonprofits, providing $80,000 in grants that will be split evenly among 20 local nonprofits working to support the workforce, economic growth, and quality of life in Loudoun County.

The Loudoun Chamber’s Foundation’s record level of giving was significantly aided by a donation from the Microsoft Corporation.

Founded in 2014, the Loudoun Chamber Foundation invests in local nonprofits focused on the economy, workforce development, public safety, and wellness in Loudoun. In that decade, the Foundation has invested $330,000 in the Loudoun community.

“On behalf of our Board of Directors, I would like to express how proud we are to see the Loudoun Chamber Foundation become a true force for philanthropy in Loudoun. I want to thank our donors, especially the Microsoft Corporation, for your generosity in supporting the work of our Foundation,” said 2024 Chamber Board Chair Angela Mitchell of ARM Consulting.

“One of Loudoun’s greatest economic assets is the strength of our local nonprofits and their vital contributions to our community’s quality of life. The Loudoun Chamber is proud to support these organizations that are working hard to ensure all who live and work in Loudoun can share in our prosperity and quality of life,” said 2025 Board Chair Scott Loftis of Atlantic Union Bank.
