Ambassador Council Spotlight: Sean Biehl

Thank you Sean Biehl of John Marshall Bank for answering a few questions and for serving on the Ambassadors Council!

What is your favorite part of being an ambassador?

My favorite thing about being an ambassador is being one of the first people to welcome and congratulate a new business owner.

What makes your business unique in your industry?

What makes me unique is my ability to communicate effectively what a business owner needs to hear, which isn’t always what they want to hear. After doing this for 20 years, the one thing I have learned is honesty wins the day and makes anyone unique.

How has Chamber membership benefitted your business?

The Chamber has connected me with the community in a way I couldn’t have imagined. It provided me a springboard to interact with local politicians, local community members, and local CEOs, who sometimes, are all the same.

What is your single best piece of advice to new Members so they can take full advantage of their membership?

You need to get involved. If you don’t get involved, then there won’t be a return on your investment. The Chamber is only a Platform to build relationships, but it doesn’t do it for you.

What do you like about doing business here in Loudoun County?

I like how unique Loudoun County is to anywhere else. There aren’t many places where I can have a meeting with a government contracting CEO and the owner of a farm brewery on the same day, and they are only a few miles apart. It’s why so many choose to do business in Loudoun.
