Now is the Time to Plan Year-End Fundraising

You might be thinking that early September is too early to be developing your year-end fundraising plans. BUT, this is exactly the right time to outline your action plan, so your organization can be prepared for a successful year-end. Led by Victoria Dietz, executive vice president of The Curtis Group, this session will bring tangible tips into focus to:

  • Proactively prepare for a successful year-end appeal

    Speaker: Victoria Dietz

  • Take a multi-pronged approach to annual giving
  • Use volunteers and board members to leverage success
  • Create excitement through online channels and social media, such as #GivingTuesday
  • Maximize results of this important part of your strategy
  • Be informed and well-prepared to lay the groundwork for your success, regardless of your fundraising goal

In her role as executive vice president for The Curtis Group, Victoria Dietz is responsible for a variety of clients’ planning studies, trainings and campaign management, overseeing a client portfolio across the country. Victoria specializes in helping her clients strategically grow overall fundraising capacity and has worked with clients and volunteers to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in her near decade with the firm. A sought-after speaker and presenter, Victoria has served on the faculty of Tidewater Community College’s Academy for Nonprofit Excellence, the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier, Charlottesville’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence, the Virginia Fund Raising Institute, and the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, and has also conducted national trainings for DonorSearch, Bloomerang and the YMCA.
