2020 is a Leap Year! What Will You Do With an Extra Day?

The Loudoun Chamber invites you to participate in the Loudoun #LeapofKindnessDay and do something kind for another person or group in our community.

Background

#LeapofKindnessDay is community wide effort created to inspire businesses, schools, clubs, friends and neighbors to do something kind for someone else here in our Loudoun community.

It can be as simple as a food drive, volunteering at a local shelter, organizing clothing donations for a nonprofit serving domestic violence victims, or delivering food or other treats to local first responders or veterans’ groups. No act of kindness is too small or will go unappreciated! These acts of kindness can be a one day activity or last all month long.

How to Participate

1) Sign-Up.  To participate in Loudoun’s #LeapOfKindnessDay 2020, we ask that you sign-up so we can give your business recognition! Remember to include details about your planned #LeapOfKindnessDay activity and use this hashtag when posting photos of your good deeds online.

 Sign-Up Here!

2) Choose a Project.  To view the list of Leap Of Kindness Day requests for support made by local nonprofits, please check out this site created by Loudoun Cares.

3) Take a Photo, and Share Your Project!  We will share your group photo on our social media channels. Please tag us on social media @LoudounChamber, or email your photo and caption to Director of Communications, Andrea Winey.

Note: You don’t have to wait until February 29th to get started! These acts of kindness can be a one day activity or last all month long. You can begin now by initiating your collection or volunteer recruitment at your workplace, school or club.  No matter what, make sure you put your extra day to good use.
