Press Release: Loudoun Chamber Announces New Board Leadership for 2024
Lansdowne, Virginia – The Loudoun Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Angela Mitchell, President & CEO of ARM Consulting LLC, as the organization’s 2024 Chair of the Board of Directors.
Mitchell, who has served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors since 2020, will officially debut as the leader of Northern Virginia’s top Chamber of Commerce at the 56th Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards on Friday, January 19, 2024, at The National Conference Center in Lansdowne.
“I’m honored to serve as the 2024 Board Chair. The Chamber’s Board of Directors and Chamber team represent the best of the best in Loudoun. We are all working diligently toward common goals to help our members grow their business, brand, and community engagement to make greater sustainable change and impact. For me, 2024 will be the year of great expectations to take our membership to the next level through partnerships, diversification, inclusiveness, and transparency. The Chamber has made tremendous progress over several years, but we are ready to do more. Let’s Go!” said Mitchell.
Mitchell follows in the footsteps of Carol Barbe, owner of Backflow Technology LLC, who served as Chair in 2023.
“It has been not only a privilege to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors this past year but also to do so with Tony Howard serving as President and CEO as he has done for the past 17 years. 2023 was a busy year for our Loudoun Chamber and it has been an honor serving as Chair during this time. We have had a fantastic year strengthening steady membership growth and strong financial performance, with member engagement at an all-time high. I look forward to Angela Mitchell’s leadership as Chair of our Loudoun Chamber in 2024 as I am certain she will build upon our successes,” said Barbe.
Serving with Mitchell on the Loudoun Chamber’s leadership team will be the organization’s new First Vice Chair/Chair-elect 2025 Scott Loftis, of Atlantic Union Bank, and Second Vice Chair/Chair-elect 2026, Chauvon McFadden, of Crimson Wealth Strategies.
