Tell Congress: Include Chambers In the Next Stimulus Package
Post written by Grafton deButts, VP of Membership and Government Affairs
Almost two weeks ago, facing an unprecedented economic and public health crisis, Congress adopted an historic stimulus package known as the CARES Act, providing help for America’s families, small businesses, health care systems and state governments. But it left out Chambers of Commerce and professional associations, which employ 1.5 million Americans and represent hundreds of thousands of local communities, businesses and industry professionals. Please read the Loudoun County Chamber’s letter on this topic.
Please contact Loudoun’s Federal representatives and tell them: “Support my community and support my business by making sure that Chambers of Commerce and professional associations are included in Congress’s next economic stimulus package.”
